We take great pride in the exquisite craftsmanship of our jewelry. To ensure your piece remains a cherished heirloom for years to come, we provide a comprehensive warranty and dedicated support services.

1. Warranty Eligibility & Lifetime Commitment

Warranty Eligibility: This warranty applies to all jewelry purchased through official CBT Diamonds sales channels.

Lifetime Warranty Commitment: From the date of purchase, we provide a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, at no cost to the customer.

✓ The warranty applies to manufacturing defects only and is non-transferable.

✓ Original proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

2. Warranty Coverage (Manufacturing Defects)

Under normal wear and use, issues determined to be related to workmanship or material defects include, but are not limited to:

  • Loose setting prongs causing diamond movement
  • Breakage due to metal casting defects or porosity
  • Chain breakage in necklaces or bracelets not caused by external force
  • Malfunction of functional components such as clasps or spring rings

3. Exclusions from Warranty

The following situations are not covered under the complimentary warranty. Paid repair services may be offered where applicable:

• Accidental or Human-Caused Damage:

Including but not limited to stone breakage caused by impact or pressure, severe band deformation, or prongs pulled open.

• Loss of Stones:

The warranty does not cover the loss of diamonds or other gemstones. We recommend contacting your insurance provider for claims.

• Normal Wear and Tear:

Including surface scratches, natural oxidation, and wear of gold plating (e.g., yellowing of white gold over time).

• Third-Party Services:

Jewelry that has been resized, repaired, or polished by a non-authorized CBT jeweler.

4. Warranty & Repair Process

1. Initial Assessment:
Please email customerservice@cbtdiamonds.com with a description of the issue, along with clear photos or videos.

2. Return of Item:
Upon preliminary confirmation, please ship the item to the designated address. We recommend using a trackable courier service such as UPS with full insurance coverage. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

3. Technical Evaluation:
Once received, the item will undergo final assessment by CBT technicians. If the issue falls within warranty coverage, repairs will be completed at no cost.

4. Repair Timeline:
◦ Minor repairs: approximately 15 business days
◦ Complex repairs: approximately 20–30 business days

5. Return Shipment:
Upon completion, we will notify you by email and provide the tracking number for the return shipment.

5. Shipping & Deposit Policy

• Canadian Customers:
The cost of returning items to the warehouse is borne by the customer.

• International Customers (Outside Canada):
A prepaid return shipping label will be provided, along with a refundable CAD $90 deposit to cover round-trip shipping and evaluation costs.

◦ * Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the balance of the deposit, less actual shipping costs, will be refunded. Where the issue falls outside warranty coverage, the deposit will be applied to applicable repair or transportation charges.
